DESCRIPTION:The gallery introduces a new name\, Matthew Swift Gallery; a new exhibition format\, a group exhibition of individual treasures; and the work of four artists not previously shown by Trident Gallery\, Milton Derr\, Timothy Harney\, Keith McDaniel\, and Jeffrey Marshall. The exhibition includes work made 1961–2019. \nIt’s not a showy start to the next six years — new signs are in progress\, and I’ve been too busy putting this together to stop to tell you about it — but I am very pleased to introduce a truly excellent selection of new works of art to you\, which will be on view through September 15. \n\n16 works of art\, 15 of which I have not shown before.\n13 artists\, 4 of whom I have not shown before.\n3 works from the 1970s\, and one likely earlier.\nLarge and small; from $1\,200 to $23\,000.\n\nSelected works on view are in the slideshow below.
